Greg and Julianne Fitzgerald  have been tennis friends and colleagues with Dennis Stojewa for over 35 years here in San Diego.

Greg is a long time resident in North County Coastal San Diego and attended San Dieguito High School. Greg went on to play for Palomar Junior College, where two years in a row, Greg‘s teams went to the state championship final tournament. Greg has taught tennis in North San Diego, on and off, for the last 35 years…. including 10 years at the Vista Tennis Club, Fallbrook Tennis Club, Alta Mira TC and coach of the El Camino HS boys team.

Greg’s USTA men’s doubles team recently won the National Championship in the 65 and over age division.

Greg and Julianne had a USTA National Ranking of #19 in the nation as a Husband and Wife mixed doubles team in their age group.

Julianne grew up in Chicago and honed her game by working out with the Andrea Yeager Family Coaching Academy. Julianne attended Stanford University on an academic scholarship. Julianne was able to work out with the Stanford varsity lady’s team, and played competitively on the Stanford Intramural Ladies team. Julianne was the number one ranked 4.5 singles player in San Diego a few years back.

Greg and Julianne are extremely knowledgeable in all areas of tennis coaching… but have an exceptional expertise in doubles strategies.

From a very satisfied tennis mom:  “Greg is an engaging, personable, observant, and highly skilled instructor. He has helped my son and his partner improve their doubles games tremendously…. Greg comes HIGHLY recommended!”  (Karin O’Brien, Carlsbad, CA)
